Refund Policy

Digital Products - Credit Purchases

Due to the nature of digital credits and AI-generated content, we have the following refund policy:

7-Day Satisfaction Guarantee

If you are not satisfied with your credit purchase, you may request a full refund within 7 days of purchase, provided:

  • No more than 3 credits have been used from the package
  • The refund request is submitted within 7 days of purchase
  • You provide a reason for the refund request

Refund Process

To request a refund:

  1. Email support@storybook-creator.app with your account email
  2. Include your order/transaction ID
  3. Explain the reason for your refund request
  4. We will review and respond within 2-3 business days

Approved refunds will be processed back to the original payment method within 5-10 business days.

Non-Refundable Items

The following are not eligible for refunds:

  • Credits that have been fully used
  • Credits purchased more than 7 days ago
  • Credits from promotional or bonus offers
  • Physical book orders (see separate policy below)

Physical Book Orders

For physical products (Book Kit, Pre-assembled, Premium):

  • Defective Products: Full refund or replacement within 30 days of delivery
  • Damaged in Shipping: Full refund or replacement with photo proof
  • Wrong Item: Full refund or correct item shipped at no charge
  • Change of Mind: No refunds after production has started

Image Bleed and Trim Issues - Not Eligible for Refund

The following issues are not eligible for refunds or reprints, as they are the user's responsibility to verify before ordering:

  • Images that appear cut off at the edges due to not extending into the bleed zone
  • Content positioned too close to edges that gets trimmed during printing
  • Images that do not properly fill the area shown in the preview (outside the grey box)

Important: The grey box in the image preview on each page shows the safe trim area. You must verify that your images extend beyond this grey box into the bleed zone before placing your order. The preview tool shows exactly how your book will print.

To report an issue with a physical product, email support@storybook-creator.app with your order number and photos of the issue.

Cancellations

Credit Purchases: Cannot be cancelled once processed. Please request a refund if purchased in error.

Physical Orders: Can be cancelled within 24 hours of order placement before production begins.

Chargebacks

Please contact us before initiating a chargeback. Chargebacks may result in account suspension pending investigation. We work with Stripe to resolve payment disputes fairly.
